Help, Doubts, Evil & Jealousy:
An Interview with Sebastián

On May 23, 2021, Sebastián Blaksley was interviewed by the Center for Contemporary Mysticism. The interview included questions from the online audience, four of which are presented here. In his answers, Sebastián refers to what Jesus, Mary, or others have told him. Sebastián has had an ongoing conversation with those beings since he was a young boy.

ASKING FOR HELP

Linda: Hi Sebastián. What does Mother Mary or Jesus or the Angels or any of them say about asking for help?

Sebastián: Thank you, Linda for that really important topic. There is confusion in many places about these topics. What Jesus and Mary and Archangels want is for us to have a direct relationship with them. They love it when we ask them for help. We are called to ask them everything. We need things. We have needs because we are human. We have material needs, psychological needs, emotional needs, and not only for us, but for others. There was a time when our Immaculate Mother Mary and also Jesus said to me that as much as I ask, that much I do grow in trust, because when we ask them we believe in them. We ask them because we give all of our life to them. Jesus once said to me, “I become dependent on your trust. As much as you trust me, that much can I do for you.”

There was a time when I had a very difficult situation and I felt that I wasn’t receiving help from Jesus. I felt like I was abandoned by him. He knew the question in my heart even without my asking the question. And it was, “why didn’t you help me? I have given you all my life like a child living in in the arms of a mother. Why did you abandon me in that difficult situation?”

And he said, “Because you didn’t ask me.”

And that was true. I forgot to ask him. We are very accustomed to try to solve our problems in the way we understand things, based on our understanding of the past. And that’s what we have to change. We are called to give everything in our life to him and to our Immaculate Mother Mary like a baby in the arms of the mother. And our Immaculate Mother Mary said, “babies cry, babies ask for things. A baby doesn’t want to receive a ‘no’ from the mother. So you have the right to ask for everything and I will give you what you ask and more every time.”

So I encourage you and everyone to ask for help every single minute of your life. That allows us to grow in having a humble heart, like a baby in the arms of a mother.

ABOUT DOUBTS

Linda: I have another question. What if you have doubts? My mind is saying things that it probably shouldn’t.

Sebastián: About doubts, Jesus explained very clearly that doubts are part of our humanity. We doubt because we are human. And we have to love that. Doubt allows us to have a more flexible way of thinking. If we don’t have doubts, he said, you wouldn’t have faith. If you don’t have faith, you don’t have the benefit of having faith. And faith is extremely important for our spirit.

So doubt is welcome, always welcome, because it’s part of your humanity. There’s no problem with having doubts. Every time we have doubts or whatever we feel, we learn to embrace that in love and welcome it. We don’t reject anything in our humanity because we no longer live by ourselves but now it’s Christ that lives in us.

So now, Linda, who is having that doubt is Christ in you. It is no longer you. So no problem with having that, we love that. And you know what? We start to love our conflicts and everything that is not “perfect enough” based on our understanding, because we are called to love everything.

EVIL

Rosemary: How do you view evil?

Sebastián: Evil is the manifestation of a lack of knowledge. When we live in ignorance, we start doing things that are against love. Evil is everything that is against love and we do that when we don’t know who we are. So every time that we see something that is not love we can know that it came from someone who is still not accepting the love that he or she truly is.

It’s just a lack of knowledge, knowledge of who we are. Based on the manifestation that I received from Jesus and Mary, we came to this world, to this universe, with only one purpose. And the purpose is to answer the question of who we are. And that question has only one answer because we cannot be many things. You have to be just one thing. And love is the only thing that exists, the only thing real because God is love and everything that come from Him is love. There is only one way of answering that question and that is that you are love. I’m love and everything is love.

If we live in harmony with that, we are going to manifest that love. But if we reject what we are, we are believing in a state of ignorance, ignorant of our identity. And that choice is available, simply that. If we know who we are, and accept who we are, then we will change because love changes everything, and truth and love are together.

JEALOUSY

Sophia: I wrote a book and I’m working on my second book. and there’s something not fair. You get all this material—you just get all this material!—and then out comes a book. And then another book! I have to sit down in front of the computer, look at a blank sheet, and I have to put things down, and on and on. So I have to say I’m quite jealous.

Sebastián (gently laughing): Thank you. Sophia, for that question. I would say to you what St. Teresa of Avila said once to me when she came to me in the one of the visitations that I usually don’t talk about. She said to me that there is a Holy Envy in our heart that she wants us to be aware of. When we really want to have something from Heaven that we don’t have, that is because there is a longing in our heart to be one with Heaven, to be one with God and that longing, that desire of being with Him comes from Christ. So I would say to embrace that, and to feel absolutely honored for being able to feel that because not everyone can feel such an elevated and holy feeling—the feeling of wanting that.

You know, that’s what makes us jump into the Divine. Because we want that. That also happened to me. Because when I read St. Theresa of Avila, who is very important to me, even when I was young, I said, this is what I want and I’m not going to stop until I get this. I see something in her heart. Something that is possible. And I’m not going to accept that this is something for her and but not for me. Because we are all human beings. Because I have that desire, I moved all of my life into following that desire.

It’s an honor to feel that. And you know what, Sophia, we always feel that. Something I learned in my direct relationship with God is that we never, never complete our desire for receiving love.

As much as we receive that much we want; as much as we receive, that much more we want. So there is a certain space of emptiness, an eternal space, where we can receive more and more eternally without satisfying that thirst of being embraced by God. So, based on what St. Teresa of Avila said to me, if you desire love it is because you are love. If you desire holiness it is because you are holy, so those words are for you today, Sophia.

The full interview can be heard here (highly recommended!). Sebastián is the receiver of Choose Only Love, messages received in 144 instantaneous “downloads” in symbolic form. Sebastián put them into words with the help of Archangel Raphael. Each message became a chapter in the seven volume series, of which five are now published and available. This interview is presented here with thanks to Joe Irwin and Patricia Pearce at the Center for Contemporary Mysticism.

About Miracles,
From Scripture Old and New

From the Bible: Mark 5, 35-43

While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him.

After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

ACIM Miracles Principle #24

Miracles enable you to heal the sick and raise the dead because you made sickness and death yourself, and can therefore abolish both. You are a miracle, capable of creating in the likeness of your Creator. Everything else is your own nightmare, and does not exist. Only the creations of light are real.

ACOL C:23.16-17

Freeing your perception from your nearly immutable belief in form will allow for all changes in form required by the miracle. Form is not a constant but a result. While you believe that belief is the result of form, it is not. Form is the result of belief. Thus belief is not only capable of changing form but also is necessary in order to do so.

History has shown you that what you believe is possible becomes possible. Science has proven the link between researcher and research findings. Still you find it difficult to believe that what is possible depends upon what you can imagine being possible. You must cease to see the difficulty and begin to see the ease with which what you can imagine becomes reality.

CHOL Vol4:18.IV

In the silence of your heart give everything to me and allow me to do or undo it. To weave a new web. To work miracles. You will learn that you perform miracles from that place of silence where you give everything to your being and allow yourself to occupy yourself. This is the definition of miraculous mentality: a mental state in which you take to the center of your being everything that arises, literally delivering it to the Christ in you and allowing it to resolve all things according to its divine approval. This is how you stop being intelligent and become wise: you allow the holy wisdom of God to be the source of your knowledge and action.
