Two Ways to Support ACOL

Make no mistake that what is asked of us is everything. What is asked is our total willingness to abandon the old, our total willingness to embrace the new. But also make no mistake that what is given to us is everything. — Prelude to The Dialogues, T4:12.36

How to support The Center

The nonprofit Center for A Course of Love serves to broaden and deepen the reader’s inner experience and relationship to A Course of Love and to support, encourage, and reflect what it means to live and to share this message in each moment of everyday life. The Center is the outreach work of Mari Perron. It exists to hold the copyright and assure the integrity of what A Course of Love was given us to be…and The Center is an on-going work of creation. It represents and will reveal in more and more ways, the call to find the center of ourselves; to show how that center appears in such varied ways in each of us, and to reveal the “living” that stands beyond the “learning” of this course.

For a variety of specific ways to give, please visit the Center’s website. The Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your gift is tax deductible.

How to support the Translation Program

Take Heart Publications is dedicated exclusively to publication and support of A Course of Love and similar scripture and supporting material, and to making these messages available in multiple languages worldwide. Take Heart’s President and sole staff, Glenn Hovemann, works on a volunteer basis, with ongoing support from the staff of Dawn Publications, a sister company.

A Course of Love is a universal scripture for the world. Like A Course in Miracles before it, ACOL came unbidden and fully formed. Except for minor matters of language it is completely unchanged and unedited from its form as original received. Naturally, people whose native language is not English are finding ACOL and wish to be able to read it in their own language. Already there have been unauthorized translations made with Read More

very good intentions but that reflect partial understanding. When ACOL is in their own language, its message “hits home” most profoundly, and is then available to share with the brothers and sisters.

The Translation Program does not seek out and hire foreign language translators; rather, those spiritual pioneers who have discovered ACOL, understand its message, and are passionate to share that message with others, make themselves known to Take Heart. Then follows an evaluation of their alignment with the message, their comprehension of the English, and their ability as translators. Translators are often volunteers and not professionals. Very often their work — and there is a LOT of labor involved! — is a labor of love. In all cases, fidelity to the message and (as much as possible) the style of Jesus is essential. Sometimes monetary assistance is needed. In addition there are significant expenses for Take Heart.
